The Last 2 Weeks Of the Semester, As Told By 'Total Drama'

Well, it's the end of the semester, that time when the library is packed with students cramming for their finals and rushing to get those final papers and projects finished.

That time when coffee is the only food group in people's diets and are terrified of whether or not their GPAs are going to rise or drop because of these exams. Luckily, our friends over at Camp Wawanakwa understand the struggles we face when it comes to the end of the semester blues, and they're going to show you.

Waking up during the last two weeks of the semester.

You were alright with getting up early for the entirety of the semester but at this point, you just want to be in a permanent coma.

When you need to be studying or finishing a paper but all you want to do is take a nap.

Plus you'll be willing to use the ever so famous excuse, "but I was so busy this semester and I still have so much work to do! I deserve a nap!"

When you realize it's already midnight and you haven't started anything yet.

Just keep distracting yourself from your work by doing errands and watching Netflix. It's just going to make you more irritable and stressed out in the long run.

When you get your first final and you realize you don't know anything.

Shortly before getting the final exam: "I got this! I've been studying so hard for the last five nights, I'm so going to ace this final!"

After reading the first question on the exam: "...Did they teach us that?"

And you contemplate dropping out, moving to a new city, and starting a new life.

Maybe dropping out of school, moving to California, and becoming a stripper doesn't sound like that bad of an idea after all (sorry, mom).

When it's time to get the grades back and you get into a debate with yourself about whether or not you did well.

After all your exams end: "I did so well on all of these! I got this!"

Five minutes later: "Or maybe not because it happens when I get my hopes up and I will probably kill my GPA in the long run."

When it's the middle of finals week and you're just excited for all of it to be over so you can go home.

Who cares if I still have three more finals to take? I'm just excited for all of them to be over already so I can reunite with my mom and my dog once more.

When all the studying and coffee gets to you and you start to go crazy.

Me? Going crazy? I'm not going crazy. I was just up all night studying for the last four nights and living on nothing but coffee for the last two weeks so I can function properly.

When you actually get your grades back and you found you did better than you thought.

I'm still in good academic standing!! WOO!!!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
