Dear Seniors
High school is fun while it lasts however, it's not what life is all about. Who ever told you High School will be the best 4 years of life should be slapped. You have so much more to look forward to. But, with that being said, LIVE IT UP!
You only get one Senior year. You only get to be the top of the high school food chain once. Live your senior year with absolutely no regrets! Try new things, get involved, reach out and meet new people. If you don't absolutely love the activities or sports you're in try something else. It's your last chance to get the full high school experience. Go to the dances, dress up, go to dinner with your friends once a month, go to ALL home games, concerts, pep assemblies-- all of it.
Participate in spirit days, the homecoming parade, dodge ball, the talent show, senior skip day, and anything else your school puts on. Go to prom--don't have a date?-- WHO CARES?! Get a huge group of friends together get a party bus and live it up looking like rock stars for one night.
You only get one shot at your senior year-- don't waste. Don't get caught up in drama and crappy friendships, because in less than a year how much of the crap and those people will really matter?
Leave your mark. Whether it is by you doing something for your school or something for an underclassman. Make an impression. Leave a legacy. Be someone to look up to.
Most importantly, don't lose sight of who you. College is quickly approaching and you need to enter with a sense of the kind of person you are or want to be. You don't have to have it all figured out but, be true to yourself. Live your life, don't let someone else live it for you. Be confident and stick to your morals, if someone can't accept you for who you are then say good-bye and meet someone new.
High school, better yet your life, is what you make of it. So make it count.
