Happiest Man

The Happiest Man

Is he who understands

That it is far better

To love and be loved

Than to love without an answer

The Happiest Man

Is he who knows

That truly he

Is never alone

The Happiest Man

Is he who can

See the beauty

On the inside

Beyond the Brokeness

The Happiest Man

Is Me

If happiness is the purpose of life, then the meaning of life is to love and be loved. It is important to go beyond the values of love that our society imposes upon us, and to Love as Christ taught us: Give freely of your love, but find also those who love like you, seeing the beauty and awesomeness of His creation, even in those who may not see the real beauty of Love within themselves.

Before that day, I never really thought about being a friend to myself, and at the time, I didn't really know what it meant. Now, I realize that you can't fully be there for other people unless you're there for yourself, too. You can't show up for others until you're willing to show up for yourself.

Thanksgiving Break is most likely everyone’s favorite break during the fall semester. You get to go home and reminisce with all your high school friends. That diet you’ve been on for the past month goes out the window, and you get to eat until you put yourself into a food coma. There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.

5. You start to look over your syllabi and start to question if you even retained any information from the semester?

6. You end up giving yourself a daily pep-talk telling yourself you can do it.
