You're a strong, independent woman. You know what you want in life. But I want you to know you deserve more.
It sounds contrived to say that you deserve the moon and the stars -- which you do -- but you deserve more. You deserve the whole world, the sky and more.
You deserve to be treated like a princess; you deserve to be treated like an equal. For no reason should you ever be treated like you are less of a person because of your decisions or your flaws. You are amazing and deserve to be treated as such.
You deserve to change the world. Know that your ideas are valuable. Your ideas do matter, regardless of what people say. You deserve to have these ideas and opinions acknowledged. You deserve to know that you matter.
You deserve to love yourself. This is something I've always had trouble with. You deserve to wear what you want and feel good while doing it. You deserve to feel comfortable in your own skin. You deserve to feel damn good about yourself, to be confident, to be a star. Don't let anyone dull your sparkle, and if they do then they don't deserve to have you in their life. You deserve to feel empowered and not judged.
You deserve to be yourself and enjoy being yourself.
You deserve to be the strong, confident young woman you are inside on the outside.
You deserve to let the whole world know how amazing you are. You deserve for the world to know your name. You deserve to be happy. And you deserve even more than that.
It's only recently that we've been told that empowering other women and ourselves is okay. Before that, we judged each other and tore each other down based on physical features. No more. You deserve to be able to tell other woman and girls that they also deserve more. You deserve to be able to spread that message without fear of mockery or judgement.
You deserve to be among the empowered generation of women.
These next few years, you deserve to be selfish. You deserve to experience life. You deserve to travel; to see the world. You deserve to experience everything and everyone you can without judgement. You deserve to be free.
You deserve that and so much more.
So to that girl who deserves the world, the moon, the stars, know this: you deserve more -- much, much more -- and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
