Inspiration can come from anywhere really, but when it comes from a person it just means more. It means that someone has impacted your life so much that you felt the need to be better. It means that someone has shown you what the good in the world looks likes and makes you strive to be that good. To my person, this one's for you, for showing me my way.

I've always been a strong-minded person who knew what she wanted but it wasn't until I met you that I knew who I wanted to be. You inspired me to give all the people that I encounter someone to look up to. You inspired me to strive to be an idol for those who need one and a friend to those who didn't have one. From day one you told me that you looked up to me, you told me that you strived to be like me, little did you know that those words meant everything to me.

Ever since hearing that I was someone's person. I knew that I had to be the very best version of myself so I could give you the inspiration that you deserved and every day I worked hard to be just that.

In the classroom, I gave my all to get the grades that I knew you were capable of. If you could see me doing it I knew you would know you were capable of it too.

On the field, I gave 110% to show you that giving your absolute all at all times is possible and it will work out in the end.

In extracurriculars, I dedicated all my time to show you that helping others is rewarding and fulfilling and that we should all help those who need a little extra help.

When I did things, I never asked for recognition because I wanted you to know that you didn't need it.

All in all, thank you. Your inspiration has turned me into the person I am today. I work harder and longer because of you, I think bigger and better because of you, I smile more because of you. Thank you for being the reason that I have been able to touch lives all over, the reason I have helped people who needed my help, the reason that I have served. Most of all though, thank you for showing me that I have a love for all of this. I love leading, I love serving and I love helping.

You telling me that I was your inspiration, in turn, made you mine and I will forever be grateful for the person you have helped shape me into. I am more confident in myself because of you. I am more strong minded because of you. I am more outgoing because of you. I am WHERE I am because your inspiration pushed me to get here, I am WHO I am because you pushed me to be this way.
