5 Stages of Pre-Finals Week

We all know the basic five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. But there are also five stages of pre-finals week. Ah, yes. Finals. It's the most nail-biting, hair pulling, tear-jerking, and stressful time of the year! I didn't realize it would be this stressful just thinking about it! So in honor of my new emotions and college experiences with testing, I have decided to share the five stages of pre-finals week to let you know that you're not alone.

1. Denial: You cannot believe "Finals" is a few days away! It's happening so fast you have to keep reminding yourself everyday.

2. Anger: When realization kicks in you start getting annoyed with everyone.

Your friends, your roommate, and even your favorite professors aren't safe!

3. Bargaining: You begin to compromise with yourself and try to keep up the motivation you've had throughout the semester.

4. Depression: But, you have absolutely no motivation to do anything anymore.

You just want to go home!

5. Acceptance: So you just decide to do your best and do whatever you can to stay sane.

In the end...

Good luck everyone!

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

2940
Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.
