This past week marks the end of my first month of college. It's had its ups and downs and lots of stresses, but through it all, one thing has stayed constant: Parks and Recreation. What they say about college students loving Netflix is true. It distracts us from the homesickness and the crazy assignments while providing that much needed laughter that is sometimes overlooked in the hectic schedules. I've found the show very relatable these past few weeks.
Where my priorities have been in finding resources:
Trying to go out and meet new people:
Texting your best friend when you're separated:
When you're looking for some variety in the cafeteria:
When you forget you have an essay at 11 the night before:
When you make an A on that essay you started at 11 the night before:
Late nights in your dorm room:
Walking into your first class:
When people ask you what you're doing with your major:
When you finally meet the people you belong with:
All in all, my first month has been full of challenges, change, and excitement that only makes me more eager for the next four years.
