Urban Dictionary describes The Fandom as "the community that surrounds a tv show/movie/book etc. Fanfiction writers, artists, poets, and cosplayers are all members of that fandom. Fandoms often consist of message boards, livejournal communities, and people."

Being away from your fandom is sad! Yes, there’s the Internet and it helps fill the void, but when you have no one to fangirl with when Dean dies again or when the Captain America: Civil War trailer comes out, it really puts a damper on your day.

You wouldn't be a lot of things without your fandom. That group has your back whenever you need it without fail. You know that there will always be someone there to nit-pick a movie with you, discuss the morals of fictional characters, or just quote entire scenes with just to say you could.
These people are your family. No matter how far away you are, they will always be there.
