For the love of Harry Styles, what is going on?! Directioners (AKA, fans of One Direction, if you didn't put two and two together) are in a collective state of shock after the band announced that they will be going on an extended hiatus come March of next year. According to People Magazine, this "break" will last at least a year so the remaining four members of the band, including Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, can explore solo opportunities. People Magazine also pointed out that this hiatus means that the band will not be going on tour for their fifth album, which is set to be released later this year.

So far, 2015 hasn't been the easiest year for the group. Back in March, Zayn Malik announced, on Facebook, that he was leaving the group after "an incredible five years" and noted that his time with One Direction "has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band." It seemed that the band took Zayn's departure pretty hard, as was evident when Harry Styles broke down on stage shortly after the announcement. Another change came courtesy of Louis Tomlinson, who recently announced that he is going to be a father with L.A. based stylist Briana Jungwirth.

While the band claims this hiatus is merely a much-needed breather, Directioners are skeptical. Fans are flooding Twitter to express their fear that their beloved band may be dunzo for good. As a glimmer of hope for fans, the band mates tweeted out thanks to their supporters, and Liam claimed that "there's so much more to come" for the group.

Despite these glimmers of hope, fans of the band are forced to imagine a world in which Harry, Zayn, Liam, and Niall are no longer a foursome. On Monday, Jimmy Kimmel joked that his niece is taking the "breakup" incredibly hard. According to Kimmel, he texted his niece to point out that she can now focus on her education to which she responded with alcohol emojis (LOL!)

So, to comfort all you Directioners out there, here are a few priceless moments courtesy of the British heartthrobs (and Irish...you're welcome, Niall) who have stolen our hearts...and broken them a few times in the process.

Remember that one time Harry fell on stage and showed us that even TOTAL BABES lose their balance?

Or that time Liam was playfully adorable with some crisp fall leaves?

And the time Zayn looked deep into our souls.

While Niall showed us his goofy side.

And that one time Louis was like totally over everything.

AND THIS TOTALLY IRONIC MOMENT! *Deep breaths*

Yet, Directioners will not give up hope that the band will reunite.

Don't let us down Harry, the world needs your man bun!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
