Everything You Want To Know About The DNC Email Leak
Occupy Corporatism

Another week, another batch of leaked emails. That definitely seems to be the case these days in American politics. Whether it's of emails from the Clinton servers or new correspondence between political leaders, emails appear to be the Achilles' Heel for any unsavory politician. The same can absolutely be said of the most recent leaks of emails between prominent Democratic National Committee (DNC) members. What the emails reveal is not trivial, but are definitely being blown out of proportion.

Much of the focus of the email leaks has been on DNC reaction to Senator Bernie Sanders' candidacy. There are numerous mentions of the Senator in the emails released, but none has been more damning than one sent from DNC CFO Brad Marshall, claiming "It might may no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps." Mr. Marshall denies that this email was about the Senator. However, as one point of interest in the 2016 race, it seems pretty clear to nearly everybody that this would have been a coordinated effort by the DNC to derail the Sanders campaign. Another email of note is one that contains the following: "He is an ASS." The email is written by former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who had long been accused of favoring Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders, something the chair of the DNC ought not do during a primary election process.

While in all, the emails do demonstrate a visible bias from the DNC towards Hillary Clinton, there is no major revelation of conspiracy. Make no mistake, these emails contained some very bad looks for the Democratic Party, and especially proved that at no point was the primary process neutral and not biased towards Hillary Clinton. However, this does not, nor should it reflect poorly on Hillary Clinton herself. There is zero evidence that the DNC was working in conjunction with the Clinton Campaign, and in fact, it appears to just be Clinton supporters throwing their weight around for the candidate within the party structure. So, yes, while this is a scandalous email release, it is not one that should make or break Clinton's candidacy.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
