Mac Miller is one of my favorite artists and my love has grown tenfold with this new album, The Divine Feminine, which was released September 16th. The amount of depth in this new studio album is beyond anything I've ever heard from Mac. One huge surprise is that Mac actually sings on this album. Features on the album include Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, Bilal, Cee Lo Green, Anderson Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, and Njomza. I'd like to take a moment to relish every track.

1."Congratulations" feat. Bilal

This was the perfect track to introduce tthe album with. Vocals by Ariana Grande, Chloe Clancy, Kilo Kish and Paige Montgomery were so strong and on point. Then the instrumentals with some strings and piano, when he starts singing are so beautiful, I think I actually shed at tear.

2. "Dang!" feat. Anderson Paak

This is the funkiest track with RnB, jazzy and a bit of electronic vibes. Anderson Paak killed the chorus in this song and his voice is totally made for this sound. Definitely a chill track.

3. "Stay"

This is by far my favorite track on the entire album. I can't decide if its because of the trumpet, the chorus with vocals by Paige Montgomery or Mac's voice being so smooth and warm in this track. Really jazzy but still super wavy. Been on repeat since the drop.

4. "Skin"

Sexy, and so so so good. Amazing vocals by Ella Paige and Njomza. This track is honestly so hypnotizing and beautiful. Mac's voice sounds super raw and he definitely killed the beat on this one.

5. "Cinderella" feat. Ty Dolla $ign

Ty Dolla $ign is my biggest weakness, maybe it's eyes idk. But YAAAAS to him singing on this track! His voice is raspy and raw but still in key and fantastic. The guitar, yes, I'm so down for it. This was the longest track and rightfully so. After those electric guitar loops, the sound and key change completely to something easy and soft with just a piano, guitar, and Mac. There are also samples from a Carlos Santos piece in the track that sound truly divine.

6. "Planet God Damn" feat. Njomza

Really loving the chorus with Njomza singing. This track has a kind of 90's sound to it and I love it. Mac speaks a bit more than he does singing but the effect is still there. Still super sexy but also still really sweet.

7. "Soulmate"

This track made me the most emotional because after the warping beats in the opening, the late amazing comedian and actor, Robin Williams' voice comes in with some quotes from Good Will Hunting. This song actually makes you feel like you're being rocketed onto a different planet with your soulmate.

8. 'We" feat. Cee Lo Green

The drums. THE DRUMS. So good and totally set the mood for the song right at the start. CeeLo (aka 1/2 of Gnarles Barkley) singing in falsetto brings out an original rnb vibe that totally makes this song fresh and new.

9. "My Favorite Part" feat. Ariana Grande

Beyond words for how cute and great this track is. It definitely sounds genuine consider Mac and Ariana are together. Ariana has the perfect voice and vocal range for love ballads and bops like this. Really romantic, vulnerable and sweet.

10. "God Is Fair, Sexy Nasty" feat. Kendrick Lamar

Jazzy as heck. Hip Hop as heck. Trap Jazz. Definitely sounds like Kendrick put his own touches on the beats.

Overall his album made me feel all the feels, but maily I was so happy because it was so different coming from Mac. He was toally vulnerable in choosing to sing and chang his vibe but it totally paid off. 5/5 gold

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
