Disney movies are notorious for teaching people young and old life lessons and stay with you forever. There are hundreds of Disney movies and even more quotes that you can live your life by.

Here are quotes from each princess that you can use as your guide to living a happy, positive life.

1. Snow White

The world may be a dark place but always remember you are unique and can fill the world with sunshine.

2. Cinderella

From her infamous song, "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes", follow Cinderella's footsteps in never giving up on your dreams because if you work hard, they'll eventually come true.

3. Sleeping Beauty

Similar to Cinderella's, Princess Aurora reminds us to never stop dreaming.

4. Ariel

Ariel is a reminder that you won't always fit in but use that to your advantage. You are unique and that makes you stand out. When you stand out, you get noticed.

5. Belle

Seek adventure. Have a desire to explore. There's more to the world than what you see in your backyard. It will bring you so much happiness to experience a new culture whether it be a state over or the other side of the globe.

6. Jasmine

Jasmine teaches us to be in relationships for the right reasons. Because if you are in a relationship for any other reason than love, you won't be truly happy.

7. Pocahontas

Pocahontas sets the reminder that you never know what anyone is going through. Be kind always. Also, be open-minded about those of a different race, gender, religion. It will teach you things you never knew about them before.

8. Mulan

Don't become someone you aren't. Don't become someone you don't recognize. Being yourself is the best and happiest person you can be.

9. Tiana

Tiana shows us that nothing comes easy in this world. Work hard for what you want and when you accomplish it, you will be overwhelmed with happiness.

10. Rapunzel

As Rapunzel does, keep your promises to those who you are close with in your life. Don't break a promise and lose them. If they mean a lot to you, losing them will make you miserable.

11. Merida

You control your fate. If you don't like the way it's going, look at it and direct it to what makes you happy.

12. Anna

Don't judge others and you will become a lot happier. Have a broadened perspective and learn to appreciate what others do or stand for.

13. Elsa

Yes I know Elsa is a queen and yes, she is talking about her ice powers here but this could be used as a lesson to not keep in our emotions. Keeping in your tears, anger, frustrations, only hurts you. If you need to cry, do it. You'll feel better and in the long run, you'll be happy you didn't bottle it all up.

14. Moana

You may feel lost and like you don't know where you are going in life. But there is a plan already written up for you, keep going. Because like Moana, you know the way.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
