The Complex of Travel, and Its Benefits.

Do you ever just sit around wondering what else there is to do in life or will your life ever just randomly become more exciting? Well, there is something I must recommend to any and every individual reading this article.

Traveling is one of the most enjoyable and intriguing activities I have ever indulged myself in. The experience itself is remarkable and it assists in developing one's character and becoming 'more in tune with yourself.'

When traveling, whether it be to a quaint little city outside of Atlanta or to the Far East countries of Asia, one will discover a copious amount of activities to participate in. These activities will in turn, help one's knowledge level to grow exponentially.

Exposure to a variety of culture, foods, places, language, and customs are all key ideals to take note of when traveling anywhere across the globe.

One must realize that just because a culture practices something we do in a different way does not mean we are to shun it, but instead embrace and appreciate it (If it is morally correct, of course).

"Well firstly, I have been to 11 countries outside of the United States. So I have had the opportunity to see and experience several walks of life. I have learned how to communicate better with people because I try to understand people from their shoes. I am less likely to pre-judge people because you never know how someone grew up. I have been exposed to several cultures and people conduct their lives differently. Who am I to judge or mistreat someone because they do not live their life according to my standards. I am more understanding to people and their situations and overall, I feel that traveling has molded me into a better person. I am more cultured and more knowledgeable about the world and because of my knowledge I conduct my life differently," says 20-year-old Georgia State junior, Nia Tippett.

There are also a vast amount of opportunities that open up when one travels. The chance to meet new people and network is almost extraordinary. No matter where you go in this world, there will always be people who share similar interests with you and this is a chance to expand your ideas and mind.

23-year-old Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta graduate Paula Cuevas states, "Traveling has helped me in several ways. For one, being exposed to new people, new places, a whole new culture has helped me gain a better perspective on the world. It's helped me get out of my own head, which I can definitely get stuck in sometimes. But the way traveling has helped me the most is by giving me courage in myself. Most of the times I've traveled it has been for work, and I've gone alone. Naturally, I'm pretty shy and I second guess my decisions a lot. But being able to travel to new places where people are looking to me for answers, I was forced to gain self confidence. And I'm so grateful for it."

Take the time out to experience and appreciate the world we live in. These monuments and vibrant array of crystal clear oceans, flourishing forests, luminous cities, and towering mountains we see scrolling down our social network feeds are real and to be able to visit these fantastic areas will immerse you in inexplicable ebullience.

A lot of young adults should realize that being able to visit somewhere else other than your hometown will assist in increasing your sense of being and also eradicate ignorance. Immerse yourself in new customs, pleasure your mind with iridescent landscapes, and assist yourself in continuing to grow as an individual. You will not regret it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
