There are many times where you just have a moment of realization of how thankful you are for the people around you and how they have helped you over the years. At that moment in time you just want to thank all of them but if you text all of them saying thank you, they might think something is wrong with you because it is rare for you to text a sentimental thing to them all. Recently I had one of these moments and here is a thank you to those people.
To my parents...
Thank you for raising to me to be the young adult I am today. For always coming to every single sporting game no matter how far away or no matter how bad we knew the loss was going to be. Thank you for letting me be unbelievably indecisive in order to find myself. Thank you for letting me call crying at 2 am for ridiculous reasons. Thank you for always being a devil's advocate and raising me to be one, it has helped me incredibly. Thank you for coming down to school once a week to hang out and take me out to eat, I look forward to that.Thank you for everything.
To my grandparents...
Thank you for being the absolute best. Thank you for letting me come over and decide what is for dinner. Thank you for the ultimate amount of camping trips. Grandma and Nanny, thank you for always telling me how proud you are about me and bragging about me to everyone you see. PopPop Richie, thank you for letting me be your everything and for always taking me pumpkin picking. PopPop Lynn, thank you for always being hard on me so I can become my best and for always making me a double batch of sausage casserole.
To my aunt and uncle...
Thank you for being another set of best friends. Thank you for spoiling more then you spoil your own kids, for saying yes when mom and dad say no, and for always making me strawberry cheesecake, not cherry cheesecake. Thank you for always making every event interesting and for fighting with me like a sister and brother in public.
To my Moravian College family...
Thank you for giving me a home away from home. Thank you for help giving me endless opportunities and for helping me grow. Thank you for helping me find who I am and reach all of my goals and so much more. Thank you for helping me build a future for myself.
To my best friends...
Thank you for not judging me, ever. Thank you for listening to me rant about the most ridiculous things but they seem important to me at the time. Thank you for having wine night with me during the difficult weeks. Thank you for the laughs until my stomach hurts and for all of the photos. Thank you for the junk food binges and the dance parties.
