As the year draws to a close, all college students everywhere are scrambling to find an internship, literally anything they can smack on their resumes as maybe-even-a-little-relevant to their future careers. Here are the feelings we've all experienced while going through this terrifying, possibly future-defining search, as told by our beloved "Parks and Recreation" pals:
1. Realizing you should probably start looking
2. Trying to figure out how to write a resume
3. Keeping your standards high: only paid internships with massive corporations that you’re way underqualified for
4. Getting (obviously) turned down for everything
5. Panicking
6. Throwing yourself at anything you could possibly be hired for
7. Freaking out to your mom, who is of no help
8. Finding your dream internship—and realize you missed the application deadline
9. Succumbing to the fear that you have no future and that everything is ruined
10. Interview! You got an interview!
11. Trying to figure out your best qualities to prepare for said interview
12. Panicking
13. Landing a fairly mediocre internship and throwing yourself a party—you’re doing just fine
Whether you're in the internship game or holding out until next year, you're are doing just fantastic. Go you!
