College friends are some of the best people you will meet. They are the people you can hang with for 57 hours straight and still miss them when they leave. We know we are going to miss them when it is time to graduate, but for now we enjoy our time together and take note of all the memories.
1. They have seen you at your best and have most most definitely seen you at your worst.
Maybe you went a little too crazy one night, but you know they will be there to hold your hair back, help you change and hand you some Advil. Despite their endless love and forgiveness, you know they won't let you live it down.
2. They never fail to surprise you.
She did what? At this point, not much comes as a surprise anymore. Both the good and bad are very possible outcomes, and we are readily awaiting either of the two.
3. They want you to be involved in every aspect of their lives.
Somethings are too personal, but that does not matter. In this group you are either all in or all out.
4. Their problems are your problems, and vice versa.
Who else would you choose to be sad, angry or just unnecessarily bitter with? Sometimes you do not even know why you're mad. You just end up with anger by association.
5. They are your biggest supporters, even for the small things in life.
Are you winning a Nobel Peace Prize? Your crew will be there, proud as ever, cheering you on. In real life, they're probably just helping you get ready for a date or giving you confidence to apply for that job. Either way, they're there for you.
6. Even the boring, lazy days are fun.
A freezing cold Saturday night is best spent cuddling around a laptop watching SNL with an over-sized bear, your friends and a box of wine.
7. Nothing is too personal anymore.
The second one of you has a juicy story, a meetup commences. This should not be hard considering you're all usually together anyway. During these special info sessions, only the most personal, strange and hilarious stories are exchanged and then locked away until the next info session of course.
8. They are usually down for anything, even the questionable things.
The second one of your friends is doing something, chances are the whole group is down for it. Whether it is a run to Target, breakfast at the diner or climbing onto the roof of a building you can count on all of you getting involved.
And we know we cannot and do not want to imagine life without our college crew.
