Sure, it might be summer, but that doesn’t mean you’re putting your Netflix shows on the back burner for some fun in the sun. You definitely should be, but come on, summer is the best time to finish all of those shows you were certain you’d finish last semester. If there is one thing you’ll accomplish this summer, it’s staying up to date with the latest season of "Vampire Diaries" or "Pretty Little Liars." Yes, "Pretty Little Liars" is still happening. Heck, in your summer boredom, you might even start a new show.
I asked a few friends for their Netflix favorites, and they’re reasoning why and decided to put together a list of the best shows to watch on Netflix. If you haven’t seen one already then I recommended getting started. Only a few more months of summer left and who’s to say you can’t finish a new show?!
" The Office"
Because Michael Scott. ...That’s what she said.
"New Girl"
All of the characters are hilarious together and the show makes me laugh out loud.
"Gossip Girl"
Chuck & Blair forever and always. Because of Chuck Bass… and the rest of the squad lololol. Derota though, Derota.
" Grey's Anatomy"
It gets you emotionally involved with the characters while keeping you on your toes for 719276 seasons.
"House of Cards"
It makes you think plus Frank & Claire = power couple. Actually think I might start this one.
"Prison Break"
Because Michael Scofield is hot AF and the story line and plot of it all is amazing. So true. Ugh, so true.
"One Tree Hill"
Because Nathan Scott is *fire emoji* and it’s an emotional roller coaster. Because they’re all babes and so many bad things happen to those poor kids of Tree Hill.
"Friends"
I've watched it probably 900 times through and still crack up alone in my room to it. They were on a break.
"How to Get Away With Murder"
Always keeps you on your toes, exciting, creepy and always has sexy actors.
"Bob's Burgers"
You honestly can't knock a show this hilarious. Whether you’re Tina, Gene, Louise, Linda, Bob or even Teddy, there is a character for all to relate to. Season three, episode 22 Carpe Museum. You're welcome.
"Mad Men"
Because cell phones and ugly Snapchats didn’t exist back then. Sounds like this is personal...
"Everybody Loves Raymond & Home Improvement"
…I love 90’s sitcoms. No really, this person just loves 90s sitcoms.
There you have it! The best shows to watch on Netflix! You no longer have an excuse to be bored all summer, but you do have an excuse to stay in.
