Ever since "Hamilton" premiered Off-Broadway in February 2015, fans have been flocking to the rap-musical inspired by the life of Alexander Hamilton. It is ever history nerds dream. Lin-Manuel Miranda took things in history that may seem not super interesting, put them to rap music and now they are events that will be hard to forget. It is nearly impossibly to pick the top 10 songs, but here are some of the best:

1. Alexander Hamilton

"Alexander Hamilton

My name is Alexander Hamilton

And there’s a million things I haven’t don't

But just you wait, just you wait..."

2. My Shot

"I am not throwing away my shot!

I am not throwing away my shot!

Hey yo, I’m just like my country

I’m young, scrappy and hungry

And I’m not throwing away my shot!"

3. The Schuyler Sisters

“'We hold these truths to be self-evident

That all men are created equal'

And when I meet Thomas Jefferson

I’m ‘a compel him to include women in the sequel!"

4. Helpless

"Helpless! Look into your eyes and the sky's the limit

I'm helpless! Down for the count and I'm drownin' in

'em I'm helpless!"

5. Wait For It

"Love doesn't discriminate

Between the sinners

And the saints

It takes and it takes and it takes"

6. The Room Where It Happens

"No one really knows how the

Parties get to yesssss

The pieces that are sacrificed in

Ev’ry game of chesssss

We just assume that it happens

But no one else is in

The room where it happens."

7. Cabinet Battle #2

"Lafayette’s a smart man, he’ll be fine

And before he was your friend, he was mine

If we try to fight in every revolution in the world, we never stop

Where do we draw the line?"

8. One Last Time

"If I say goodbye, the nation learns to move on

It outlives me when I’m gone"

9. Burn

"You and your words flooded my senses

Your sentences left me defenseless

You built me palaces out of paragraphs

You built cathedrals"

10. It's Quite UpTown

"Forgiveness. Can you imagine?

Forgiveness. Can you imagine?

If you see him in the street, walking by her

Side, talking by her side, have pity

They are going through the unimaginable"

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
