The Best Frank Sinatra Quotes
Deadstate

Whenever I sit down to type out a paper, study, eat, shower, get dressed, drive, breath, etc., I usually put on my Frank Sinatra playlist. His music relaxes me, but it also makes me picture myself dancing around the kitchen with my husband after we put the kids to bed. So naturally, as I sat down to bust out this article with no idea what I wanted to write about, I played some Frank Sinatra to set the mood and it got me thinking about all the great quotes Frank has said. Without further ado, here are some of the best Frank Sinatra quotes of all time.

When he reminded us that we should let the haters be our motivators:

"The best revenge is massive success."

When he said this amazing quote about alcohol:

"Alcohol may be man's worst enemy, but the bible says love your enemy."

When he reminded us that relationships should be based on more than just physical attraction:

"I like intelligent women. When you go out, it shouldn't be a staring contest."

When he said this beautiful line that women continue to swoon over to this day:

"May you live to be 100 and may the last voice you hear be mine."

When he said this about luck vs. talent:

"People often remark that I'm pretty lucky. Luck is only important in so far as getting the chance to sell yourself at the right moment. After that, you've got to have talent and know how to use it."

When he reminded us to be decent human beings:

"If you don't know the guy on the other side of the world, love him anyway because he's just like you. He has the same dreams, the same hopes and fears. It's one world, pal. We're all neighbors."

We can all learn a thing or two from Frank. So go turn on his music, grab someone you love, pour a glass of wine and dance around your living room.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
