Who will get the last red rose?

Flash back to the middle of 2015. They have announced the few democratic candidates and the many republican candidates for the election and the interviews and prep for the Fox debates are in full swing. The biggest spotlights are Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump/Ben Carson. Hilary has been aiming for the presidency I would bet as soon as she moved her tooth brush into the White House when Bill Clinton was president.

Possibly even before that. Meanwhile, Donald Trump and Ben Carson are outsiders (Stay golden, Pony boy) when it comes to Washington politics. However, I would argue that those that support political campaigns are just as political as the candidate themselves; therefore Donald Trump would lose that edge he has over Clinton. In the republican party it seemed that they had as many people running as kids forced to play t-ball in the south (way too many). Watching the Republican debate was like watching The Bachelor except instead of a hunky man choosing a wife it is America choosing a president or at least a republican nominee.

Every week the candidates would go on "dates" (interviews) and America would watch and see who would be dropped and to see who else would come back from past episodes (presidential races). But just like in The Bachelor, we expect people to drop out and get cut but there are still the people, whether you like them or not, that you are sad to see go. Ted Cruz hung up his suit and put away his American Flag pin last week. Even though I do not like Ted Cruz, he was very entertaining to watch and I am sad to see him go. He was always so awkward and his voice and looks reminded of The Count from Sesame Street.

Based on the past presidential race debates and the history of the winners, there has been a kind of underdog story happening. And the entire campaign is being supported by the voices and pissed off attitudes of the young people. America did not expect the success that this candidate has had and I would argue that the candidate did not expect, is that Clinton would have a fierce competitor from her own party. He would rise up slowly but surely with the support of Americas young people who are tired of their wants and needs being put on the back burner. He is the only candidate that talks about college education more than once. He doesn't only discuss college loan rates and tuition when he is speaking at universities or or at a Chipotle wearing a pants suit (Hillary). I mean come on a pants suit at Chipotle? I would get hot sauce all over it and dry cleaning is an unnecessary hassle. His name is Bernie Sanders and no amount of heart burn medication can make Americas young people stop Feelin' the Bern. And I assure you, America that he will get the last red rose.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
