Let's be honest, you have sat in your room for hours on end, not quite sure what time it was, sobbing, smiling, and singing to the fan favorite Netflix binge-watch, "Grey's Anatomy." But do you know the cast?
"Grey's Anatomy," with its life changing quotes, and heart-stopping drama, has climbed its way to one of the most famous shows to date. With every relationship, death, case, and Meredith Grey relatable moment, it has taken us through hard times in our lives. Whether you have found your person, or your McDreamy, Grey's is relatable to everyone who watches it. But, have you ever looked past the "page Dr. *insert the last name of character here*" and the "push one of epi's?" There are real people, playing tremendously amazing parts, who go home to normal lives after their make believe operations. Here is to the cast of "Grey's Anatomy."
Ellen Pompeo- Dr. Meredith Grey

She made you feel like you could do anything, and made you cry when one of her "children" did something good or did something bad. But, Chandra was actually from Houston, Texas and even had a commercial role on Burger King.
James Pickens Jr.- Dr. Richard Webber
Webber was the wise overseeing voice of the whole show and always knew what to do and say. He made you laugh, and he made you cry, but James is originally from Ohio and is on the United States Championship Roping team.

McDreamy will always give you hope to find someone like him in your life, your dream guy who was a superstar neuro-god. But in real life, Patrick lived in Maine and had a stepson that was older than him.
Sara Ramirez- Dr. Callie Torres
Callie made you a stronger person and taught you how to stand up for yourself. Yes, we know it kills you to know that Sara is not truly an orthopaedic surgeon, but she attended Juilliard School of Drama and also appeared in "Spiderman" (2002).
Sandra Oh- Dr. Christina Yang
Yang was the ultimate relationship goals, friendship goals, and surgeon goals. She made you want to be better, and to go for what you want. Sandra actually attended the National Theatre School in Quebec and spoke Korean, English, French, and Spanish.
Kevin McKidd- Dr. Owen Hunt
Hunt was the one people looked to for solidarity, and he taught us how to love someone. Kevin is actually from Scotland and dropped out of engineering to pursue a career in acting.
Jessica Capshaw- Dr. Arizona Robbins
She reminded you to always be happy even in hard times, and inspired you to save the lives of the "tiny humans". But, Jessica was interestingly the stepdaughter of Steven Spielberg and shares a birthday with Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt).
Jesse Williams- Dr. Jackson Avery
Jackson was another great addition to the Mc nicknames and showed us that it is okay to love your best friend. Jesse was a former high school teacher and also appeared in "The Cabin in the Woods."
Eric Dane- Dr. Mark Sloane
McSteamy reminded us that there are no boundaries to love, and we should always go after what we truly want, no matter the consequences. But Eric actually starred in "Marley and Me" and is married to Rebecca Gayheart.
Katherine Heigl- Dr. Izzie Stevens
Izzie taught us that you should follow your dreams and work hard to get them, and do not let anyone stand in your way. But in real life, Katherine played cello in high school and is an avid animal lover. She is also ranked in many standings as one of the sexiest women alive.
Kate Walsh- Dr. Addison Montgomery- Shepherd
Addison inspired you to be a world renowned saver of babies lives and taught you how to choose what makes you happy. But in reality Kate attended the University of Arizona and was even a runaway model in Japan once.
This is obviously not the full cast of "Greys Anatomy," but there were many things learned and loved from these characters. Sorry to ruin the perfectly perceived world of Grey's, but they are real people too.
