Each year since 1944, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has honored Hollywood's elite actors and actresses at the Golden Globe Awards. The city's most renowned stars gather at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills to acknowledge the achievements of their peers. This year's Globes aired live on Sunday, January 8, and was hosted by Jimmy Fallon. To kickoff the evening, Fallon had a mishap with the teleprompter when it stopped working during his monologue. However, Fallon didn't let this mistake ruin the night, and the show went smoothly through the many acceptance speeches and celebrity run-ins. Here is a complete list of the noteworthy moments, award winners, and fashion standouts from the 74th annual Golden Globes.
Red Carpet
For many people, the red carpet is just as important as the actual awards being given out. This year's red carpet brought an array of different gowns and outfits for the evening, each one better than the previous one. Fans and photographers watch as stars like Blake Lively, Ryan Gosling, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and John Legend made their way into the Beverly Hilton.
