College is all about meeting new people. Here are the friends you are sure to make during your time in college.

1. The Funny Friends

If you've had a bad day and need a good laugh, these are your go to people. No matter what they are talking about, it instantly brightens your day and will have you rolling on the floor laughing. Every time they are around, it is guaranteed you will be crying and with a stomach ache from all the laughs.

2. The Advice Gurus

These are the friends who let you vent and rant about anything and everything. They give the best advice and will keep you from doing things you know you shouldn't do.

3. The "Up For Anything" Friends

Want to take a 2 a.m. study break to go to McDonalds? Want to go on a walk? This is the friend you call. They are down for anything at any time, no questions asked. They love unexpected plans and you can always count on them for any adventure.

4. The "Mom/Dad" Friends

Thank the lord for the friends like these. They know how to have fun, but always keep you in line and take care of you. They are older and have done the college rodeo a few more rounds than you, so they tell it how it is. They always have your best interest and you would be lost without them.

5. Class Friends

Once you've decided your major, you are used to familiar faces. When you walk into class and see these faces, you instantly feel like it's gonna be a good semester. These are the friends you text about assignments, the are the friends who you study with, and the ones who you can vent about the class. Be sure to thank them for riding the struggle bus with you.

6. Your Ride or Die Friends

Where have you been all my life?! These are the friends you know are going to be there for a lifetime. They have aspects of all of the friends listed above, which makes them the best friends of all time. They are always there to make you laugh, give you advice, help you study, or up for anything.
