Everyone has that one exam they feverishly study for and just know it's going to ruin your week. Not only does it take up all of your study time, but it also puts a heavy burden on you that makes it hard to do anything else but review. We all have the same reactions and thoughts when getting ready for these finals. At the risk of disappointing my mother with my unpreparedness and overall anxiety about finals week, here are 5 reactions everyone has to the hardest final they have.
1. When you start to study
2. You begin to question your sanity.
Slowly but surely you feel your sanity slipping away from you. After going through your notes over and over again, you feel no hope.
3. Nervousness sets in
"What if I fail? This class is for my major, this could ruin my career path..." and all other concerns you have begin to isolate you from the rest of campus. What's dinner? All you can think about is the big test and how much you're going to fail it.
4. Hurried studying because you've spent most of your time freaking out about it.
No one can stop you now because you've spent all of your time worrying that you haven't actually studied very much. Anything and everything doesn't matter - all that matters is that test.
5. Feeling on-top-of-the world because you made it through.
You've done it. You've made it through. Who knows if you passed, but hey - at least its over.
Exam week can be stressful, but just know your Chuck-E-Cheese-kid-with-an-awesome-crown time is coming and the holidays are around the corner. Although these tests are tough - you are tougher. Go on, fierce warriors. Fight that sleep deprivation and mild starvation and get that passing grade.
