The 5 best places to visit in the United Kingdom

The UK is an amazing, beautiful and entertaining place to visit. A lot of people think the UK is just strictly London. Well, it isn’t! In addition to London, there are so many amazing places to see. Here is a list of 5 places I recommend you visit in the UK!

1. London

Of course, London is number 1 on this list. It is the heart of the UK and is my favorite place in the entire world. Not only is it beautiful, but there’s shopping, parks, shows, musicals, pubs, and so much more. There is never a dull day in London! The people there are so kind.

2. Stonehenge.

This isn’t a city, but it is one of the most breathtaking places in the UK. The ancient stones together form a monument that no one knows how it was created. This is one of those things where you see it in pictures and think it is so cool but then see it in person and have a completely different outlook on it.

3. Brighton

Brighton was beautiful. The pier over the water is filled with things to do. The food here actually isn’t bad! The entire city has a bohemian vibe, which is really cool. The shopping here is good, too!

4. Bath

Bath is a neat place to go. There are a lot of places to go shopping and things to see! Also, a lot of history! The streets are filled with people. There are parks that are beautiful and there are sights to see too! The cover picture of this article is actually a picture I took in Bath!

5.Wales

Wales is also beautiful. There are a lot of sights to see here. The ancient Abbey ruins are breathtaking and fun to explore. As a piece of advice, try to go on a day where it isn’t supposed to rain!

So if you’re planning a trip to the UK, keep these places in mind. I wanted to go to London- and I did. But what really made me appreciate London and what really made my trip one of the best experiences of my life, was seeing other places too.
