Going home is relaxing at first, but questions on questions will come before you from the people you love and the people you hate. Here are the 4 things you will (most likely) get asked once you get home from college:
1. Do you have a job?
This one comes from the parents. Although they most support you scholarly endeavors, as soon as you get home you are on your own. Good luck with the "freedom" you dreamed of.
2. How do you like the school?
This one comes from the sorta friends or prospective students. They either haven't been in touch with you since you left (which is probably not a disappointment to you) or they are truly just curious about the school. Either way, you aren't quite the main focus of this question.
3. Do you have a new boyfriend/girlfriend?
This one usually comes from the grandparents. Regardless of if you had a significant other going into college, the purely assume the new crop of people will lead you to a new relationship. If you say no, wait for the disappointed look to follow.
4. What's your plan?
This one is pretty broad, but usually comes from people asking about your future (aka your parents). They want to know where you want to work, live, eat, sleep, etc. in the future, determined to find your motivations. Good luck if you don't have one, because more questions will definitely accompany this one.
