You have had a count down set on your phone since the second week of school for summer, and now it is finally here. But you can't celebrate quite yet. To officially complete your school year, there is just one last thing that you have to get through: finals week.

1. Realization

You suddenly realize that it is the week before finals and you don't remember anything that you have learned the entire semester.

2. Regret

You remember that one time in the third of the semester that you missed class for your friend's-sister's-roommate's-parent's-dog's birthday party and think about how that one missed class is probably going to be the reason you fail.

3. Determination

You fully believe that you're fully capable of studying for 18 hours straight and that you are going to ace your finals. Life is good.

4. Studying

You feel productive and think there is a chance you might actually be understanding what you're studying.

5. Coffee, coffee, coffee. Did I mention coffee?

You find yourself 19 hours into your study session when you can no longer feel your face or sit still and realize you've spent 30 dollars on overpriced coffee.

6. Distraction

You tell yourself that you'll only watch one episode, but then you look around and it's already morning and you've finished a whole season of your favorite show.

7. Exhaustion

At this point, you haven't slept more than four hours in the past week and the bags under your eyes are anything but Gucci.

8. Breakdown

You are exhausted, hungry, miserable, and want to go home. But you haven't even had your first exam yet and you don't think you are going to live to see summer after all. You don't know why you put yourself through this emotional turmoil.

9. Indifference

You start questioning whether you actually need a college degree and tell everyone about just how much you don't care, but you care more than you are willing to admit.

10. First Exam

You walk into your first exam like you are walking into battle. You inform your family that you may or may not come out alive.

11. Dread

You made it out of your first exam unscathed and think you've won the battle. Then you remember the five other exams you have yet to take.

12. Pure Joy

You survived. You finished all of your exams and are only mostly dead. Now you get to go home for the summer where no exams = happiness.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
