The 11 Halloween Movies You Must Watch

One of the best things about Fall is Halloween!!!

Halloween is the scariest night of the year, even though there are always creepy decorations. What are you doing that frightening night? Have you decided yet? Are you going to get dressed in a spooky costume and dance it out all night with your friends or have you decided to stay home? Even if you decide to stay in for the night, you simply can't stay away from the Halloween atmosphere. Choose a movie, sit on the couch, call your friends, and get scared! But don't get too scared when the doorbell rings from trick or treaters!

Here is the list of the best movies you should watch on Halloween night.

1. The Cabin in the Woods, a group of college students with young Jesse Williams as the star. They go for the weekend in what they think could be a peaceful vacation in a cabin. They think they are alone, but what happens when zombies come to visit them!??

2. Lights Out, a 2016 horror movie. This is definitely one you should watch in the dark.

3. The Amityville Horror, a haunted movie for sure. The story tells the experiences of the Lutz family when they buy a haunted home in Amityville, New York. The year before there was a mass murder in this house and frightening paranormal events occur...

4. Saw, there isn’t a more terrifying movie than this… Who is safe?

5. The Shining, a classic Stephen King horror. A man with his family is spending vacation in a mountain resort, when he becomes crazy and wants to kill his wife. Do not miss it!

6. All Hallow's Eve, after a night of trick or treating, three friends receive a tape and they decide to watch it. It contains videos of threatening clowns. Definitely relevant to the recent clown sitings all around the world!

7. When a Stranger Calls, a girl who's babysitting receives unknown and threatening calls from a mysterious person.

8. Paranormal Activity, a young couple moves into a new house, but strange things begin to happen. They hear noises and they see silhouettes and figures. What happens when they realize it is more complicated than they anticipated?

9. The Conjuring, The Warrens come to assist the Perron family who are experiencing increasingly strange mysterious events in their farmhouse in Rhode Island.

10. The Sixth Sense, a supernatural horror. A little kid named Cole can see and talk to dead people, and a psychologist, played by Bruce Willis, tries to help him…

11. Room 1408, A man books a room at a hotel in New York, in the famous room 1408. He decides to spend the night in the room despite the manager warning him not to.

Get ready to freak out and scream. Choose the movie that scares the hell out of you!!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
