One of the typical things for us college kids to do when we come home for the summer is to go back and visit our high schools right before graduation. Even if you hated high school you still hold a special place in your heart for where you went. Seeing old friends, teachers, teammates and coaches really makes you feel extremely nostalgic, and who doesn't love a good blast from the past. Lets be real, were not signing up for a fifth year of high school or anything, because we all know that the college lifestyle is way more fun. Obviously being home from college leads to the typical cliche questions and scenarios, but there is nothing quite like being back in your old stomping ground. Going back to visit your high school probably plays out something like this:

1.Teachers ask "Soooo, how's college!?"

Classic question requires a classic answer, "It's Good!" (Fake smile included.) We all know how annoying this gets from family members to old teachers. Everyone who's anyone tends to ask the exact same thing.

2. Avoiding that one teacher you hated

Everyone has that one teacher that actually made High School a living hell, so going back to visit means avoiding them at all cost.

3. But also seeing that one you loved

On the contrary, everyone has that teacher who actually made a huge impact on their life, making you a better person and student along the way. Sometimes we really only go back just to see that one teacher.

4. Hearing all the drama that went on since your grade graduated

The best part is reuniting with the seniors and getting a year of drama that you missed while at college. Hearing drama is so much more fun when your not in high school anymore. You get to laugh it off and they still actually have to deal with it.

5. Feeling old and not recognizing anyone

Going back to your high school means you probably say to yourself, "Wow I feel so old." Walking through the halls, you are nine out of 10 times, confused as to where all these new people came from.

6. Running into the "hot coach" or "hot teacher" and still blushing

You thought your silly high school crush on your old hot teacher was gone until you run into them and still blush like an absolute child that you are.

7. Reminiscing on your glory days at a sporting event

Whether you go back to watch a game or your old teams practice, your nostalgic meter hits a 10, and you realize that now you're just that college kid that used to go here.

8. Bragging to all the graduating seniors about how lit college is

One of the things that comes along with being in college now is all the bragging rights you get. Talking to the graduating seniors means telling them all about how fun college really is.

9. But also telling them to live it up and enjoy High School while it lasts

Although college is fun, rushing out of high school can sometimes lead to having regrets, and we live a life of 'No Regrets.' So just enjoy what you have, because soon it will be gone!

10. Going home and realizing how easy life used to be

Last, but certainly not least, after being all cool and #socollege, reality sets in when you get home and realize that you're 20 pounds heavier, in debt, and old. But college is fun right? Right.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
