34 Thoughts Every College Student Has As Told By Jimmy Fallon

Let's face it: coming home from college isn't all what it's cracked up to be. Of course in the midst of all the finals, all you want to do is assume the fetal position and get comfort from your mom, or kisses from your dog. But the sad reality is that it's not what you imagined at all.

You swear on that tweet that you can't even handle it with studying for finals and want to be done with them. We've all been there before. But do you really want to leave your college town and friends? Because in some cases, your home will not meet your expectations.

Here's a list of thoughts you might have had when coming home for summer, as told by Jimmy Fallon.

1. The stress from unloading your car exceeds the stress from finals.

2. You have too much junk.

3. You don’t know if you should ask for permission to hangout with friends.

4. And when you do, there’s now a curfew.

5. So you’ll probably just stay in your house because another episode of "Friends" just started.

6. You’ll shamelessly mold your body into the couch.

7. And then continue to lay there for the next five hours because why not?

8. You’ve been reminded what it’s like to be bored.

9. Then you’ll remember how much you hate being bored.

10. Should I ask if I can pour a glass of wine or?

11. You’ll look in the pantry for food only to find your blasted flavored goldfish have now been replaced with the 100 calorie Cheese-It pack.

12. You’ll go to the grocery store to shop for what you want, along with 47 items that mom wants.

13. That trip to the store now consists of other errands that she slides on to that list.

14. You can’t check to see if a hot guy is driving that truck because apparently dads drive trucks now too.

15. Don’t even try on your old t-shirt from freshman year of high school. It’s not an XL Comfort Color, so why bother.

16. Your pets will take over your Snapchat.

17. Until you realize they do absolutely nothing but eat and sleep.

18. But of course one more selfie with them cuddling on you because you don’t think your friends understand how cute they are.

19. You’ll get bored again.

20. You’ll stay up till 2 a.m. because it’s the norm.

21. You notice your coffee addiction.

22. You now have two of everything (i.e. toothbrushes, hair products, deodorant).

23. Suddenly other types of toilet paper exist.

24. You now notice how terrible your shower head pressure at school is.

25. You can’t leave the house without looking somewhat decent because who knows who you’ll run into.

26. Like you could run into your ex from high school.

27. You’ll laugh at how you cared so much about that relationship.

28. You'll continue to laugh at all that drama in high school.

29. Then you'll wonder how you ever made it through seven hours of sitting in desks all day.

30. You’ll realize that pool parties at home aren’t like the pool parties at college.

31. Your patience will get tested with your parents.

32. Multiple times.

33. You'll have a better understanding when someone says that, "Times have changed." Especially in the case of past friendships.

34. You'll realize that all you want is fall semester to start so you can be back in your college town.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
