The first week of classes in college is usually the best week. However, Back to Cap Week is even better. There is so much to do on this little university, you would be surprised at how much is packed onto this little campus. Not only are there plenty of events, it is also a great week to meet new friends and catch up with old ones. Here are the 10 best things about Back to Cap Week:

1. Since our campus is so small, your'e bound to run into a few of your old classmates and friends.

2. The professors don't assign much during the first week, which allows us more time to have fun and get ready for another year here at Cap.

3. Our conservatory holds great talent, especially on a week like this (comedians, hypnotists, bands, etc.)

4. FOOD. Okay so our food isn't the greatest here at Cap, but they do reward of us with food trucks (aka cream puffs)!

5. Sororities and fraternities provide us with a great way to get to know one another -- ice cream socials. Whether your'e into that or not, it's a great way to get some delicious food of some sort after a long day of lectures about fire safety.

6. The Org Fair has everything you could dream of plus more. If you enjoy getting involved on campus, this is probably your favorite thing about Back to Cap Week.

7. Capital always adds something interesting onto campus during the first week, whether thats music or entertainment of some sort, it will keep us busy.

8. Main Street also has some exciting events and new attractions each year. This year, it is the Market District Express. If you haven't checked it out, be sure to do so soon (there is a Starbucks even closer to us now).

9. Everyone on your floor has the opportunity to meet one another during move in day or at the first RA meeting before classes begin.

10. Capital University is the best place to share another year with your classmates. I wouldn't want to spend these college years anywhere else!
