This one is a classic. This is one of the best songs to play while you’re driving through some Christmas lights on a cold December night. As the song says, it’s the best time of the year.

2. Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms

A perfect tune to pretend that you and your friends are the characters from Mean Girls. Not only is there a dance for this song, but it’s pretty catchy if you listen to it.

3. Blue Christmas by Elvis Presley

Now I know what you’re thinking, “Why is this sad song in the top 10?” Whenever I hear this song, I just imagine hot young Elvis serenading me by the fire place with a nice glass of wine. I don’t know about anyone else, but this sounds like heaven to me.

This is the song your little cousin sings at their Christmas play at their elementary school, and tears pour down your face because it’s truly precious. And the sound of Judy Garland wishing me a happy holidays makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

This song really sets the holiday mood while you’re decorating your Christmas tree. It gives you the warm and fuzzies, and makes you want to hang out with your parents and drink hot cocoa.

8. Mistletoe by Justin Bieber

Yet another bae-catching song. This is how you seal the deal, you let him know what you want from that mistletoe.

9. Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by She & Him

This one is a perfect holiday jam. Play this at your Christmas party, when you and all your pals are wearing those ugly sweaters and drinking some eggnog.

10. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by Frank Sinatra

This oldie is the important one. It reminds you to be good so you get your presents from the big man in red. So, be good for goodness sake!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
