A thank - you letter to my mom
Dear Mom,
I can’t even begin to explain in just a few hundred words how thankful and blessed I am to have you as a mother, but I will try to. I would like to say thank you. Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made for me over the past twenty years. As college goes on and I grow up, I have begun to notice all the big and little things you have done for me since I was conceived. Like the time you gave me the last $20 in your wallet when I was little so I could go to the mall with my friends, or when you would make sure to get me to and from cheerleading practice every day for ten years, even if it meant you dropping everything to come and get me. Not only was it the little things you have done for me, but also the major things in my life as well, like marrying the perfect man and letting me grow up with a positive father figure in my life. Not only have you sacrificed your life for me and my siblings, but you have also been my biggest supporter and the person I could always count on to have my back. So thank you for never giving up on me and always pushing me to go outside my comfort zone, I would never be where I am today without your love and support. I know that there have been a handful of times that you just wanted to get into your car and run away, but you never turned your back on me or our family, so thank you for that. Thank you for mending my broken heart, for making me laugh even when I didn’t want to and thank you for being the best role model I could ever ask for. I can’t wait to grow up and be like you mom, and show all the people who have walked out of my life what a great daughter you raised. You are the most beautiful, amazing and hard working women figure in my life and I aspire to be like you in life. So mom, thank you for being my best friend, and my mom all in one. I love you too the moon and back, forever.
Love,
Your daughter
