Thanksgiving is one of my favorite seasons. I love spending time with my family and of course, eating amazing food. Here are 10 things that I am thankful for this Thanksgiving season:

1. Jesus

I am always thankful for Jesus' love and the sacrifice that He made for us.

2. Family

I have the most amazing family on the planet. We have been through so much over the past few years and no matter what, they are always in my corner supporting me and lifting me up when I fall.

3. Food

I am thankful for food every single day of my life because eating is one of my favorite hobbies.

4. My parents

I love my parents more than anything in this whole entire world. Although one is no longer here on this Earth, I was still blessed with the most amazing parents. My dad taught me so much while he was alive and my mom has taught me even more since he passed. She has shown me what true courage and strength looks like and she is my hero.

5. The opportunity to attend college

Being in college has made me realize that not everyone has the opportunity to attend college and knowing that I can makes me feel humbled and blessed. Having a family that supports me and helps pay for me to be able to obtain a degree is very humbling and I have been blessed beyond measure.

6. My friends

College has blessed me with the most amazing friends any girl could ever hope for. I don't know where I would be without them.

7. My dog

He annoys me to the ends of the Earth, but I don't know what I would do without his cuddles.

Enjoy this Thanksgiving season with your family and friends and be thankful for all of the things you are blessed to have in life.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
