Teachers are some of the most important people in a child's life. I was lucky to live in a school district that had many amazing teachers. There are many kids who aren't as lucky as I was and that makes me sad because teachers are so important in helping shape the way we think and function in society.

To all of my teachers in all of my years in Maumee, thank you. I appreciate the time you took to stay after school and help me and many other students when you should have been at home with your families. I appreciate all of the extra hours you spent grading papers and making sure me and your other students received the best education possible.

I have had so many teachers just in the Maumee school district who had such passion for teaching and helping others learn. They weren't just trying to make us learn to pass tests. We were learning to better ourselves and also to pass tests.

I want to thank all of my teachers along with my parents for shaping who I am today. I didn't always want to try my hardest or do all of my work, but you pushed me to work hard and be a better person.
