I think most people can agree that their parents have one of the biggest influences that any person has on a kid’s life; they’re the first ones to watch you walk, hear your first words, and pick you up after your first fall. I’m beyond blessed to have the parents that I have. They have always showed me how to be the best person I can be and to open my heart to new ideas and new people.

Thank You For Always Supporting Me

No matter what the circumstance was, you were always there for me. Whether it was softball, school, moving, the list is endless. Nothing was more important than seeing you guys in the stands cheering me on, and you never complained once about it.

Thank You For Letting Me Make My Own Mistakes

I have screwed up, disappointed you, and let myself down, but you never loved me any less. You still believed in me and let me figure problems out on my own. You gave me the best guidance that a parent could give, and without you, I would never be the person I am today.

No matter what the circumstance is, you always put my needs in front of your own. You have showed me what it means to be an amazing parent.

Thank You For Never Failing To Make Me Laugh

Happy, sad, it doesn’t matter; you can always put a smile on my face. Every family gathering or simply sitting next to each other on the couch is always a good time.

Thank You For All Your Hard Work

Dad, you are hardest worker and most motivated man I have ever met. The things you do for our family are truly inspirational. You have given me the drive to go out and be the hardest worker I can be. And my mom, she will accomplish anything she sets her mind to. Both of my parents go out every day and work so hard for us. We get to do all the things we love to do because of how hard you both work. If I can be even half as successful as you are, I’ll be pretty well accomplished.

Thank You For Always Telling Me What Others Wouldn’t

There are some things only your family can say to you, and even if you never want to hear it, you know it’s coming from love when your parents tell you. Thank you for telling me things that I didn’t always want to hear, but I know I wouldn’t want to have heard it from anyone else.

Thank You For Being My Best Friends

At the end of day no matter what drama is going at school, I know I always have people who have my back. You guys are there for me when no one else is and guided me when I didn’t know what direction I was going.

All in all, I don’t thank you guys enough for being the parents you are. I will never be able to tell you in words how thankful I am for you both. You have given me an above and beyond example of what I kind of person I strive to be.
