To my little sister,
This one’s for you. I should probably start out by saying that ever since you were born, you’ve made my life extremely crazy and wild and fun. You were born when I was 3 and a half years old. Now, almost 16 years later, you're still driving me crazy.
This letter to you serves as one giant thank you. There are so many things I could thank you for and say to you right now. I could write this whole thing through a timeline of us growing up together, but then this would probably be as long as the Bible with all the memories we have. Hopefully, I can keep this as short and sweet as possible.
Thank you for always making me laugh.
No matter what the issue may have been, you were always there to say something funny or offer to do something together.
Thank you for being my #1 co-pilot.
Whenever we would be bored, our go-to idea would be to get in my car and drive somewhere, and 9 out of 10 times it would be to go get food. The greatest times we have had together have probably been in my car, when we’d take every back road and you’d be the greatest DJ to ever have the aux cord.
Thank you for being the best shopping partner.
I know that your first idea for something to do when we were always bored was for me to drive you to the mall. Even though 99% of the time neither of us bought anything, just walking around through each of the stores was a great way to pass time.
Thank you for letting me hang out with you and your friends.
This one is a big thank you. Your two best friends have basically become my other two little sisters. The three of you always know how to entertain me, and you three always have fun ideas for things to do together.
Thank you for sharing your obsession of “Jersey Shore” with me.
Once that was aired back on TV, our obsession grew bigger. Binge watching that show with you was definitely a time well spent.
Thank you for taking the best selfies with me.
My phone has hundreds of pictures we took together. Some of them are nice, normal sister pictures. And others… well they are definitely funny to look at, especially the ones with Snapchat filters.
and last but not least….
Thank you for being my best friend.
Since the day you were born, you instantly became my best friend. Like any other siblings, we had our share of pointless fights and arguments. We have grown so close with each other, and every day we have our “sister days” is another favorite memory added.
I know we don’t get to see each other a lot now that I moved into college two and a half hours away from home, but believe me when I say I miss you more and more every day. You’re my best friend and I love you always.
Love, your favorite big sister
