Dear Guy Best Friend,

Sometimes, I forget to be thankful that I have you in my life. You do more for me than I can count. I can't express in words or actions how thankful I am for you every day.

You always listen to me. I can ramble on for hours about a boy or a girl and you will just sit there and listen. You truly have a gift of patience considering how much I talk about everything and nothing and yet, you always seem like you are interested.

I divulge all of secrets and thoughts to you and you never tell a soul. You keep it to yourself and you make me feel like I can tell you anything.

You never judge me if I pig out on food and you always encourage me to eat more. It is nice to just eat with someone in sweats, not makeup, hair in a bun and not feel self-conscious.

I can pick on you for hours and you just let it roll off your shoulders and laugh while simultaneously make fun of me.

You never judge me for anything I say or do. I can be the meanest person in the world and yet, you never cease to still make me feel loved despite of my actions or attitude when they are not the best.

You always make me feel like someone is in my corner. When I feel like the whole world is against me, I always know the only person who will always have my back is you.

There is never drama between us because we literally have nothing to fight about.

We always just laugh off when people ask if we are dating or say we should get married because we are too close and think of each other as brother and sister in all honesty.

I love that our friendship is solely based on the fact we like each other's company. We don't use the friendship to gain something from one another or use each other.

It is comforting to know that whether it be one in the morning or one in the afternoon, I can call you anytime and you will come over and comfort me or talk to me on the phone when I have a bad day.

It is nice to have someone who can come over anytime and not only hangout with me but my family because we are all so close and comfortable with one another.

It is always nice to get a perspective from a guys point on view on what my outfit looks like and you never fail to tell me if my outfit clashes or if you just plain do not like it.

I said it before and I will say it again, I can't thank you enough for all you do. These are just some of the many reasons I love you and our close friendship. Having a guy best friend like you has been such a blessing and I could not be more thankful for you.
