Everyone, whether you know it or not, has one biggest fan. For most people, it's their mom. She will always love you, no matter what. She only wants you to succeed in life; she's been cheering you on since day one, and always putting you first.
Dear Mom,
You deserve a little bit more credit than I give you sometimes. I wouldn't be who I am or where I am now without you. Hat's off to you.
The list of things I am thankful for about you could go on forever. But first, thanks for always being my mom.
Thanks for always cheering me on. You've been cheering me on since I've taken my first steps, and casually taking pictures making sure I don't fall on my face.
Thank you for not shutting down all my ridiculous ideas, and only shutting down the really bad ones.
Thank you for always making me laugh and smile.
Thank you for all of those unavoidable embarrassing moments you made happen all through high school.
Thank you for always telling me you're "a cool mom." At the time I may not have realized it, but now I do.
Thank you for always pushing me to be the best person I can be, and telling when I can be doing better. I would never be where I am without your pushing me.
Thank you for pulling me up every time I fail, and telling me to start all over. You helped me build character, by never letting me give up.
Thank you for accepting me for me. You have accepted all my craziness and embraced it. I honestly thank you for that. Not just anyone could handle all my crazy, but you can.
Thank you for teaching me to be confident. Without the confidence I have now, I would never be able to succeed.
Thank you for teaching me to always look at he positives in life rather than the negatives, and always pulling me up when I'm down. Without this, I would have never been able to always be the happy smiling person I am now.
Thank you for always answering my phone calls in the middle of the night while I'm panicking about my whole life falling apart, and always telling me to calm down and that life will all work out and to not worry.
Thank you for not freaking out every time my life plan changes...every week. We both know I'll eventually figure it out.
Thank you for always feeding me good food every time I come home. I appreciate it more than you even think.
But what it all boils down to is without having you as my biggest fan I would never be the person I am today. I would never be the confident, loving, strong woman I am today. I'd never believe I can do anything I set my mind to and always believe in myself. You're my biggest fan and greatest teacher. Thank you, Mom. I love you to the moon and back.
Thanks Mom,
Your loving daughter
