Dear Mr. Trump,
You've awoken something slumbering in my soul since birth. Your speeches have kindled a fire that danced shyly in the shadows of my conscience. I truly have to thank you. You are gift that fell from the heavens--A fake-sprayed tan orange gift box with a disgusting yellow toupee as a bow.
I've always heard the tales of this ghoul that haunted America, well, not only America, the world actually; this ghoul whom feeds of the souls of the wicked and hateful. I had never really met this vile creature in person; this ghoul is named racism. The myth of racism had never materialized against me in life. I had only read of racism, heard of these hooded white figures and their followers who murdered my black brother's and sister's lives. But you Mr. Trump, in a heap of anger and fury have revealed this immoral being in all its deprived and malicious disgrace. You have un-hooded a side of America that was hidden, angry and most of all denied by everyone. You've shown their true colors.
This hate has been bred since 1776 and continued after 1865.
You've raised an army that has taken hostage the party of Lincoln and turned it into The Grand Wizard Party. We're witnessing the split of said political party, and all these feelings of malice are expanding at alarming rates, resembling the splitting of an atom.
I'm tired of seeing my fellow brothers and sisters of color explaining to you how good they are, and how they are just as much Americans as you are. I know how much we are as equally American as you or your followers, maybe if not more. I have nothing to explain to you or your legions of mindless drones, and we as minorities have nothing to prove to you.
I love soul food, I love my tortillas, and I love all my people. I love this country and even though you and your drones might hate us, I respect your first amendment. Just as I have the right to pen this letter, you have the right to refute it. I will protest peacefully and fight your vile tongue with all my might, but I won't stoop down to your level and engage in violence and hateful rhetoric. We as a society are better than that.
Donald, I truly don't even think you're a racist; you're a con man. You've fooled everyone with your smirks, with your violence, with your hate. You took advantage; you never really thought you had a chance to win, just like you didn't have a chance with your last campaign. President Obama obliterated you, you were made a mockery, but then you did something different, you tapped into an angry and desperate group of people feeling under appreciated, I suppose. You tapped into their fears, and you grew like a wild fire scorching all earth that came in your way. You've decimated your party and your self. You put all your chips in last roll of the dice, and whether you win or lose; you solidified yourself as an icon or hate and racism. You might be invited to the next Klan meeting if you're lucky.
I don't represent anyone but myself in this letter, but to my people, we will stand strong together against all hate and crimes against us. To my black brothers and sisters, and I will stand by you in your time of need. To my Muslim brothers and sisters, I will fight all prejudices and injustices that might fall on you. My Hispanic family, I will protect our culture and lineage, and give our culture the respect and love it deserves, and I will prove wrong these bigots, I will show them that we are not just drug traffickers and rapist. And my white brothers and sisters, I will support you and love you. I will not succumb to the hate of Donald Trump and make me view you as my enemies. We are all children of this Earth and we will all unite.
So thanks, Donald, for proving that the fight for equality is far from over. We will vanquish this ghoul named racism from our country and from our hearts, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow; but in the end love will always trump hate.
