Dear Sister,

I never get to tell you enough how I actually feel about you. So listen to everything that I have to say and don't be stubborn if you think something is incorrect. This letter is for you and only you!

Having a sister is a blessing and a curse, and you may not even notice it. Yes, having any sibling can cause problems all throughout the house, but having an older sister causes a lot of problems. Older sisters came into the world first to test it out and make sure that it is alright for you to live in. Older sisters basically do the dirty work for us in terms of anything in life, whether it be family issues or friend fights or even boy struggles. They can give you the wise words of advice to help you make the right choices in life.

First off, thank you for being the best person that you can be! You have taught me so many things that I didn't know that I needed to know in this life. You have taught me the smallest things just by being yourself. you have taught me how to be the adorable and perfect youngest child when you made mistakes in order for me to learn from them. You taught me how to deal with mistakes that life throws at us just by being strong and standing your ground.

Thank you for always being a shoulder for me to cry on no matter the time or day. Yes, you handled some mistakes of your own, but I too have made mistakes. I watched you cry some nights and I was your shoulder to cry on and you always thanked me for being there. I don't know if I ever thanked you for being my shoulder to cry on. I never noticed how much I take for granted from you, but you never said no to helping me in any situaton. You made sure to always make me laugh no matter how long I was crying. So thank you for putting up with my dramatic tears throughout my life so far. I know I will have plenty more tears to cry and I might not thank you then, so here I am thanking you now.

Thank you for letting me walk in your shoes for a little while. Growing up, being your little sister, you left huge shoes for me to fill and looking back on them, they were hard to fill. But I made it just like you did. You made them look easy and I am glad that I had you by my side to make sure I was filling them correctly. Thank you for leaving me the shoes to fill about being the baby of the family, and being your little sister in school and having to look up to the great acomplishments that you made. Thank you for allowing me to set my goals just as high as you did, because without your shoes to fill I don't think I would have came this far.

Thank you for being with me while dealing with our family. Families come in all shapes and sizes and our family is no different, beisdes the fact that our family has you. Without you in our family, I don't think we would have made it this far becuase let's face it, the older child basically forms our family to the way we act. So thank you for molding our family to what it is today.

Most of all, thank you for being my best friend. I know everyone says that their sister is their best friend, but I am truly honored to say that this is true. We do have our differences but at the end of the day, you are the person to whom I tell everything no matter how stupid it may sound.

Having an older sister is something not to take for granted because no matter which boy break your heart, or which friend you are fighting with that day, sisters are for life.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
