A Letter To My Mom
Mamma Mia

Dear Mom,

You do so much for me everyday. You have put my needs before yours since the day I was born, and I don't say thank you enough. This letter can't possibly thank you enough for all you do, but it's just the start of my gratitude.

Thank you for everything. Thank you for being supportive of me no matter what. Thank you for doing everything in your power to make my dreams a reality. Thank you for being there for me whether it was talking me down when I was sure I wasn't going to make it through Spanish class, or showing up to any event that I participated in. Thank you for being understanding when I don't text or call you back right away because you know I have a horrible memory. Thank you for feeding me at school and home and making sure I'm being properly taken care of. Thank you for letting me figure out who I want to be and supporting me to make my own choices. Thank you for making sacrifices in order for me to pursue my dreams. I know now that it hasn't always been easy and I am so grateful.Thank you for taking me shopping because I needed to get off campus. Thank you for sending me candy in the mail after I've had a hard week and you know how much I love chocolate. Thank you for always editing my papers and helping me with my writing so I can get a better grade. Thank you for texting me before every big test to wish me luck and asking me how it went after. Thank you for letting me cry on your shoulder and being my protector. Thank you for making my room perfect when I come home so that I never want to leave. Thank you for loving me no matter what.

Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for all the things you do that I don't thank you enough. Thank you for being you.

With a lot of love and gratitude,

Your Thankful Daughter

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
