A Thank You Letter to My College Friends

We've known each other for only a semester, but it feels like it has been years.

A Thank You Letter to My College Friends

Dear College Friends,

Isn't it hard to believe that we have been living in different states and living parallel lives? Thankfully, God realized that we all needed each other and crossed all of our paths together only a couple days into the semester. I remember when we all first met, and I never thought in a million years that you all would become such an amazing part of my life.

There was something different about all of you; it only took a few days to become close. We survived the first semester of freshman year, made stupid decisions in Wal-Mart, and of course, spent every day together, and now the second semester has a lot to live up to.

We now all have become one, I feel like all of you are my siblings. You are always there for me, for the little to the huge things.

Whether I feel my world is about to come crashing down because I tripped on the drill field., or just needing someone to go eat with me, you guys are my heroes.

We almost share emotions, when one of us has a bad day we all do, if someone gets good news, we celebrate it like it is our own. We all want the absolute best for each other and won't settle for anything less.

You guys also there to tell me what I need to hear. Either I am being over dramatic like always or that my outfit really isn’t cute. We keep each other on the right track and we make each other the best we can be. I believe in each and every one of you, and I know you guys will always have my back.

I am so thankful for that.

At the end of any day long or short, we can always come back and just rant about whatever is in our minds. We can gossip, a judgment-free zone of course, and always guaranteed laughs. No matter what kind of day I’m having the laughs always makes my day brighter.

I wish that we could forever be just a floor, dorm, or even a wall away from each other, but in just a few short years our lives will all branch out into completely different directions, sending us far apart.

There will be a time where we won’t have to make cookout runs, or study till 2 a.m. Thankfully enough the bond we all have created is only going to grow stronger. Though all of our lives will change, and we will all be settling down and actually diving into the so-called “real-world”, but just know that I am always a phone call away.

No time or distance could ever separate us.

I want you to know that I am forever thankful for everything that we have done together. I love each and every none of y’all.

Thank you for being you, and my college, and forever friends,

Me.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
