Thank you for the life lessons.

Thank you for showing me what I deserve in life. Thank you for showing me who a caring person is by showing you never cared. Thank you for showing me to not believe things in the moment, and to believe actions rather than words. Thank you for all the things I will look out for that I need to keep out of my life in the future.

You've taught me that words are never true no matter how much they may mean to you. You've taught me that actions speak louder than words. You've taught me no matter what you say, there is always a hidden message. You've taught me that behind every action, there is a reason for that action that you can't even explain yourself. You've taught me that you can say the nicest things in the whole world, but in the end, it was all a lie. You've taught me who fake people are and I could not thank you enough.

Although it hurts, I'm not going to let the hurt destroy me. Instead, I'm going to take the hurt and make it a life lesson. I'm going to let all the words, situations and acts teach me a lesson. The biggest thing that I have learned is that actions forever speak louder than words and it's that simple. You can say all the nice things in the world, but I now know to not believe them until I see them play out in actions.

You've told me things you know I wanted to hear in the moment but in the end, every single thing you said was absolute bullshit. Not once did I see your words play out into actions and I should have known the first 5 times it happened. There were too many times I found out the truth or other things you were doing behind my back and I want to thank you for that. You've taught me to listen to myself and when someone isn't putting in the effort they should be, to just leave and walk away.

I can't change someone if they don't want to make a change for them self, nor do I want to change someone to be this person who I thought they were.

You've shown me the difference between someone who actually loves me for who I am and someone who likes me only for the physical attractiveness. You've shown me to never go to someone that only wants me at 11 pm and won't make anytime during the daylight to see me, and not make me apart of their day.

Lastly, you've taught me to listen to every detail someone says. There were so many times that I caught the cues and heard the words that should have made me leave but instead I tried to ignore them because I did not want to believe them. But most importantly, you've shown me my worth and what I deserve and I thank you for that.
