We all have people in our lives who have helped in molding us to be the people we are, and have pushed us to strive for success in our lives. I'm blessed to be a person who comes from an extremely loving family who has made sure that I was always doing what I needed to be doing in order to be on the path toward success. I'm also someone who is blessed to have a great support system in my friends as well. I'm confident in the fact that without these amazing people I would not be the person I am today, and I would not have been so successful this far in school. I know that these people in my life will continue to support me through college and into my future. Due to all of the support in my life, I owe all of you a sincere thank you.
Thank you for pushing me. You all were there to push me and make me strive to be better than I thought was possible. Without the push I would settle for less than I could accomplish. I would not have had the extra nudge to go out and do more in school, to do that extra credit, to try new things and to study so hard.
Thank you for criticizing me. Without your thoughtful criticisms of how what I did wasn't up to par or how I shouldn't have made that decision, where would I be? I wouldn't know that a 92 percent wasn't the best I could get. I wouldn't know that you need to prioritize academics over everything else. My projects would have been mediocre at best and my decisions pretty questionable.
Thank you for teaching me how to behave. I look at other people my age and thank God that I have the friends and family that I do that have shaped me into the person I am. I have morals, values and I know the difference between right and wrong. I learned what is appropriate behavior and I learned not to be mean to others. My parents and their rules and lessons shaped me into a caring, well-behaved young woman.
Thank you for showing pride in me. Your pride in me led to my pride in myself. I wouldn't be so proud and feel the strong accomplishment if it wasn't for your praises and bragging to others about me. My parent's pride kept me wanting to strive for high achievements in school, and kept me striving to be a better person.
Thank you for always being there for me. When I had a question, needed help with homework, needed a shoulder to cry on, you all were always there for me. When I needed to make a tough decision or need to vent, you were there with advice and a helping hand. You were my rock.
That is my list of thank you's for my mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, teachers and everyone who has been very helpful in pushing me to succeed. I do not know where I would be without you guys. Thank you. I love you all so much.
