A Short Thank-You Letter To My Loving Grandfather

Dear Grandpa,

Looking back on the years we spent with each other brings back a collection of memories that shall never be forgotten. It was the memories with you that I now look back on as I treasure them with my heart and soul.

Thank you for being the one who inspired me to achieve the dreams I once aspired to accomplish as well as helping me grow into the young woman I am today. It was you who pushed me to exceed my limits through your words of wisdom (and maybe your silly jokes…).

It is because of you, Grandpa, that I truly believe that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to. As a part of you, I look to the future knowing that I will carry a part your soul with me wherever I venture. Someday, I dream of being the successful and loving parent as well as grandparent you once were. No one will ever replace you or the warmth, love, knowledge and joy that you influenced me with.

I love you to the moon and beyond.
