First off, I want to say thank you for helping create the crazy, loving, special (sometimes a little too special), helpful, strong person I am today. I couldn’t do it without you, and I will never be able to thank you enough for that!
My highschool friends, who taught me it’s okay to be a little crazy sometimes. I was not the popular girl at all during all my years of school and I’ve learned to accept that. My friends I’ve had are always just a little crazy for some people to handle and that’s perfectly fine. High School is where I met my absolute best friends who made me realize it’s better to be crazy than “normal” and boring. By being crazy and able to laugh about anything we went through together made me realize true friends are the one who will go on crazy adventures with you late at night and make lifelong memories instead of going off to some party and getting so wasted you can’t remember what even happened.
My past “loves” who taught me everything happens for a reason. Sometimes it’s not always going to work out, no matter how hard you want it to. You helped me learn that I am the only person who can truly make myself happy and to not let someone control my life, or my happiness. I cried many tears over you, but thank god I finally realized how toxic and unhealthy you were. So thank you for breaking my heart and making me realize I am one very strong and happy girl without you.
My true love who made me realize you have to kiss a few toads to find your prince and that true love isn’t just in the movies. You have made me a much happier, loving, and overall better person in just these few months of being together. Thank you for putting the sunshine back in my life and making me realize, the ones who truly love you will accept you for who you are, and not what they want you to be. Thank you for loving me for who I am and always being here for me, I truly can say you are my one true love.
My college friends who taught me change is good. We were all pretty scared to start college and find new friends but I’m beyond thankful that I found you! Thank you for accepting me so easily and making my first couple months in college a lot less horrible than it could have been! I have no clue where I would be right now if it wasn’t for you three, so thank you! I’m excited to see where college takes us, but I do know I will be by your side through everything!
And finally, my mom who taught me to be strong and that everything will eventually be okay. Mom, you were dealt a pretty crappy card in life these past couple of years, but thank you for always making sure all of your girls were happy and safe. I will never be able to thank you enough! Your love and strength make me want to be exactly like you when I’m older. You are such a strong person and I can’t thank you enough for helping me grow into the strong person I am today. You deserve the world mom, and I hope one day, I can give it to you. Thank you for raising four beautiful, strong, smart, funny, caring, crazy daughters, who are exactly like you.
