I can't say that you never complain, but you have every right. You're my number one fan and my number one supporter. At each hardship, each hurdle, you're right by my side. I can honestly say that you are one of my favorite people, and I hope I am one of yours. You are my best friend, my partner in crime, and every other cliche. Thank you for all you do -- I don't say it enough.

1. Thank you for listening to my crazy family drama.

No matter how many times I'm upset, you listen. You always manage to calm me down and see the bigger picture.

2. Thank you for reassuring me when I'm freaking out.

Whether it's a job interview, a big final, or just something little, you know just what to say to help me prepare.

3. Thank you for watching chick-flicks when I know you want to watch sports.

I am more than willing to watch sports-ball with you. But I love that you know I need a break every once in a while.

4. Thank you for understanding my nerdiness.

Listing our favorite "Harry Potter" books in descending order is what I call relationship goals.

5. Thank you for accepting me as me.

I never have to worry if I snort when I laugh or if I'm saying something wrong. I know you'll accept me wholeheartedly.

6. Thank you for being excited about us.

It isn't always me who asks when we can hang out. You are excited to see me and excited to experience new things together. It means a lot.

7. Thank you for paying for dinner, or at least trying to.

You're a guy, it comes with the territory. Thank you for showing that you want to, but letting me pay, too. It's a girl thing.

8. Thank you for wanting me to hang out with your family.

Your family is awesome. I love them. I wish your sisters were mine and I love your parents. I'm honored that you want to share them with me.

9. Thank you for playing board games with me.

Isn't the saying "the couple who plays board games together, stays together?" Yes? I think I'm right.

10. Thank you for teaching me new things.

I'm not apprehensive anymore. Now, I'm excited. I want to continue to learn about what you're interested in. And for you to learn about what I like, too.

11. Thank you for sharing your accomplishments.

I was so proud when you graduated your program, and even more so when you got the job. Going after your dream takes courage, and you are no chicken.

12. Thank you for being a kid.

Blanket forts, "Twister" games, and tickle fights -- key elements to a successful relationship.

13. Thank you for taking hundreds of pictures with me.

I know you looked great in all one hundred, but I didn't. Thank you for sitting there while I take a hundred more.

14. Thank you for being my best friend.

My life is better for having you in it.
