Spending Time With Your Girlfriends Is So Essential

It's always important to spend time with your closest friends. Whether it's for a special occasion, a holiday, or just a random get together. Every moment spent with your closest girlfriends matters. The reason is because no matter what situation you've ever been in, there hasn't been one moment where they haven't been there for you. Even if they were not physically there. If there was ever a time where you felt sad, happy, or angry about something you can always count on your girlfriends helping you through it. Through most of the toughest events in your life, they have helped you feel like yourself again. Yes of course, even through a nasty breakup with an ex.

The reason why I cherish my girlfriends is mainly because of all the best memories I built with them. Some of the best times that have ever made me laugh has been with them. We can tell each other anything and not worry about what one will think. I hope that one day we'll be able to be those women in our 30s and 40s who will continue to share many more great memories to come.

Since seeing the movie "Girls Trip" over the summer, I remember walking out of the theater laughing to myself thinking "I wonder if that's how it's going to be with my girls and I." I sure do hope it is us one day. I keep seeing older women out with their best friends and I always smile knowing that they have such a strong bond. Don't get me wrong there are going to be times when you're not always going to agree and that is okay.

You're not always going to have some of the best times together simply because life is not meant for things to be perfect. To be perfectly honest, that is one of the many best things about being close with your girlfriends. Having them see you in your most imperfect moments means that they have seen you at both your worst and your best.

In times where I felt completely lost and upset I would simply just call or text them that I'm not having the best day and they would always be there to listen. I wouldn't vent to anyone else other than them, my sister, and my parents. I love spending time with the ones who I can go to brunch with and talk about my day to. I love my girlfriends to bits!

I hope that by the grace of God we can still be in touch with one another no matter what. No matter how bad we make mistakes, we'll be there to think of solutions to fix it. No matter how bad a situation may seem at the moment, we'll be there to make the best out of it. We'll be there for one another to catch each other when we fall. Trust is important, and you know your friendship is strong when you can trust. The bigger the bond the bigger the friendship. So to all my girlfriends, I love you all so much!! Never forget that!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
