Hey roomie,

It has been a pretty great year and a large part of that is because I have had you as a roommate. Having you on the other side of the room is always comforting and a great distraction from studying. When we moved in together, I said that all I needed in a roommate was someone to eat with me and tell me I am pretty. I want to take this time to say thank you for all the things you do even beyond that.

Thank you for keeping the light on until I get home at night.

Thank you for letting the temperature stay below 70 degrees.

Thank you for coordinating our schedules so that we could try to eat meals together, even though we always have class at different times.

Thank you for always walking to the parking deck with me to get my car.

Thanks for not being annoyed when my laundry basket overflows onto the floor.

Thank you for watching "The Descendants" with me over and over and over again.

Thank you for our roommate time where we don’t talk but just sit in the room together doing our own thing.

Thank you for walking to Co-op with me late at night when I needed a snack.

Thank you for not throwing a pillow at me when I talk to you early in the mornings.

Thank you for the pep talks half way through the semester when I think there is no hope left.

Thank you for always going out with me and sticking by my side.

Thank you for keeping our Snapchat streak when we are not together.

Thank you for wishing me good luck before every test I have.

Thanks for letting me go on tangents and listening to it all.

Thank you for caring about the things that matter so much to me.

Thank you for discussing "Shadow Hunters" in depth with me.

Thanks for choosing to study with me even if it is less productive.

Thank you for letting me borrow your makeup and hair accessories.

Thanks for not getting annoyed as I tried on 10 outfits before I knew what I wanted to wear.

Thank you for staying in with pizza and a movie after a stressful week.

Thank you for going to see movies that you didn’t want to see.

Thank you for the conversations that kept us lying awake past 2 a.m.

Thank you for making birthdays away from home more homie.

Thank you for hugging me when I needed to cry.

Thank you for getting super excited about everything and being positive.

Thank you for being a truly phenomenal person.
